The Brisbane conversation between atheist and cosmologist Lawrence Krauss and Christian philosopher William Lane Craig has garnered an immense amount of interest on the blogosphere in the last 5 days. An incredible amount of traffic has landed at this tiny site from Google, and atheist and Christian discussion forums have been speculating on the contents of the conversation Craig described as gladiatorial combat, and Krauss described as ‘not a debate, more discussion, less rhetoric and formality’. Two vastly different appraisals of the event I would say.
Well, there’s some great news today for those aching for a video of the event. Maybe.
Lawrence Krauss announced this on Twitter:
Brisbane event video should appear this week I think. Tommorrow: something from nothing, Sydney town hall sold out but tix at door probably—

Reasonable Faith posted this curious snippet:
I’m not entirely sure what the process is for approving the release of a debate video but obviously both parties must agree. The release of this video would be a good step forward for the honesty, transparency and full disclosure Krauss called for in his opening address.
